Context
Sector: U.S. federal government client requiring multi-IL data sharing controls. Role: Architect and full-stack development lead on greenfield platform. Environment: Multi-IL (multiple impact levels), spanning on-prem and GovCloud.
Challenge
- Lead full-stack development of a greenfield risk platform requiring cross-boundary data sharing and air-gapped operations.
- Integrate complex graph relationships with change data capture (CDC) pipelines and fine-grained access controls.
- Evolve system from a functional POC to a production-hardened distributed system.
- Successfully architect deployments across both on-premise and GovCloud environments.
Architecture
- Event-driven risk platform utilizing Golang, React.js, Neo4j, Postgres, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.
- Kubernetes clusters with Istio service mesh, Gitlab, ArgoCD, and Platform One BigBang services.
Operational Model
- Work directly with customer to define functional requirements.
- Lead full-stack development.
Outcomes
- Delivered a production-ready platform aligned to federal security controls and multi-IL operational constraints.
